Burlingame is one of the Peninsula’s most picturesque cities. Dubbed the “City of Trees,” the area is complete with a spectacular amount of greenery, much of which is protected by city ordinance. Burlingame is located south of San Francisco and is just over six square miles in size. It is one of the better locations in the Bay Area for transportation as it is equipped with it’s own Caltrain station, and has several intersecting highways, including Highway 101. Residents enjoy a walkable downtown, with plenty of dining and shopping, and many commuting options north to the city or south to Silicon Valley for even more work or play.

There are a vast number of preschools and five elementary schools, but only one middle and high school within city limits. High school-aged students have the option to attend schools in neighboring cities as part of the San Mateo Union High School District, or one of the many private schools in Burlingame.
